Subtle and sharp, the facade of the new Calvin Klein Underwear shop emphasises the 2,2m vertical grid on which the whole Lijnbaan ensemble was originally based. The absence of horizontal elements gives the shopfront a clean and inviting look, that stands out from the average shops.
It is the second shop in the Netherlands featuring the new ‘Concrete’ interior design developed inhouse by CK and Hyphen. LAGADO architects operated as local architect and designed the facade to meet the demands from the city’s Monuments department and arranged the building permit as well as the tender documents. Exciting to work on such a fast paced project and we’re proud to have delivered the building permit so quick that the shop could open one week ahead of schedule!
